Oral Roberts University scandal--And why are we surprised by this?
Another reason Richard Roberts should never have been allowed to run a "university." In his statement to the media this morning, he mispronounced "litigious."
Also, hearing messages from God should get him committed to a small, safe, padded room. Or get him elected president of the USA.
The most horrifying detail in this report from the AP about the brewing nastiness at ORU in Tulsa is that Mrs. Roberts, the university's self-proclaimed "first lady," spent 39K of the college's funds on clothing from Chico's.
Chico's! Home of hideous double-knits and capris for menopausal mamas! Chico's is to fashion what ORU is to college education.
Also, what's with the text messages to "underage males," Mrs. R.?
God tells me these folks are giving crazy a bad name.
