Deadline doldrums

No new posts till early in the week. Heavy deadlines for my journo-jobs. Watch for back-to-school stuff here Monday and Tuesday.

Does anyone have any favorite sites, ones where the writer uses a lot of humor? I like the professor, and James Lileks, but other than that I'm having trouble finding anyone to emulate. Got to go for now, but I'll check back later.

um its not really a writer per se but theres a site,, where the guy who runs it puts up postcards sent from all over with people telling their secrets and its really cool (some of it might not be completely appropriate for a young child, i.e under high school)

I asked the question, but didn't leave the "boring" answer. I guess in some circles that passes for whit. I wonder how long it took him to come up with that, or if he came up with it all by himself. Probably the only clever thing he knows, and he posts it whenever he has the chance. He trolls the internet, looking for a chance to use his clever "boring" retort. To be honest, it's not really worth the time keying it in.
