Lauren hopes for a C -- cup, that is

Lauren says she's a student working her way through the university. Lauren has a blog with lots of photos of her in her underwear. Lauren wants you to donate $9,000 so she can get breast implants. Choice: tuition.... chest bags. Find Lauren here.

I'm guessing she's an 'Ashley??"

Nothing spectacular here. She's just being open and all Internet-savvy about it. It's the same basic tactic of countless Ashleys on campuses nationwide.

It's official: the MRS degree program has a Web site and spokesperson now.

Actually, this is a rather dull website. Eating a sloppy joe is not something that needs to be communicated around the world on the Internet.

What's wrong with soliciting money on the internet? Hell, if I had image issues I'd fundraise too.

Looks like she chose tuition. Good girl.

At least she is pimping herself out, not others!

As another flat-chested Lauren Ashley (in name, not personality), I can see where she's coming from. When you're in college, and all around you are signs saying that this is the best it'll get, and that this is the best your body will look, it's hard to realize that, in the scheme of things, an A cup or C cup won't make that much of a difference in your life.

Who out there is going to donate $9,000 to pay for my college tuition just because I have a blog? Probably nobody. But if she can make that much just by posting pictures of herself online, and save her money for other things, like paying the bills, that's fine by me.

Something tells me it wouldn't be as notable if it were a student wanting to buy a fancy car. And it could be worse- lord knows how much she could make posting pictures of more than just her bare legs.

The whole business is just unsavory. I can picture what this girl is like in conversation. I am glad I will never be in the same room with her.

I am sad that I will be in rooms with women like in her in the future. Just the prospect, and the knowledge of the inevitibility of it, dampens my mood.

This is all in addition to the fact that she has a fine body now and will undoubtedly look like some sort of unnatural freak after surgery.

As the mother of 3 girls around Lauren's age, all I can say is ... OMFG.

If any of my girls ever demonstrated such vapid self-obsession and lack of intelligence and critical thinking skills, I would disown them.

This does help to explain, however, why Tom DeLay won the Sugarland primary last night. Lots of Laurens live in Sugarland.

Wow, Kevin. With a father with that tone, I'm sure your girls have other issues that they will deal with the rest of their lives. Talk about insecurity. How about having a dad that would disown you for youthful stupidity and self-doubt?

Kevin's logic regarding DeLay escapes me. My observation is most Laurens/Ashleys don't vote in Primaries, and they certainly are in places other than Sugarland.

Looks like just poor judgment to me, but then I'm not a chest man. Now if she wants to get one of those Brazilian booties, I may consider making a small contribution. (Just kidding, don't blow a gasket)

Heh. I'm glad my DD cup is natural. But if I hadn't been endowed by my mother's genes, I don't think I'd care. As an athlete in high school, they were more of a curse than a blessing.

This website is interesting... Personally I would be extremely embarrassed soliciting money that way... Thanks for the website though officially killed 30 minutes of office time...

Poor Lauren really has internalized some toxic messages about her body and her worth. Of course, it's not surprising given that she's been bombarded with these messages all her life.

Maybe she should use the money for therapy.

Hope she gets them- why not?

The girl seems like a boob. She should make a clean breast of things. She should be embra-ssed. Let this cup pass. I hope her efforts to get money for this are a complete bust.
