...And we students think we have it bad...
A long-time adjunct in our department wanted more stability, so she got a job at a for-profit school offering BAs etc... they dictated her book, syllabus (including topics and order of topics), and made her wear a uniform.
I'm not sure why they thought they needed someone with a PhD to do that..
Thank goodness she came back and she now has the maximum number of classes... and finally is making a decent wage.
